They dropped their next three games in a row, losing to the New York Knicks by 25 points (123-98), Philadelphia in overtime 118-114, and Orlando 119-115, which left them with a 1 win and 3 losses. The Pacers next game against the Celtics was a shocker. The Heats were unable to continue their winning run, as they fell to the New York Knicks 116-107 at home. Bam Adebayo scored 20 of his 32 points in the first half and the Miami side beat the Washington Wizards 118-98. 

Their game against the Kings was a let down to the Heats fans as the Kings scored off an offensive rebound with 0.7 seconds left. The Kings rallied from 15 points down to beat the Miami Heat’s 111-110. The Heat were outscored 37-17 in the 3rd quarter, as they were leading by 15 points. Following their defeat over the Kings, the Heats then went on a three-game losing run.

A close win over the Wolves, as Nikola Jovic made the tying layup and a foul shot with 7.8 seconds left to send the Miami Heats past the Minnesota Timberwolves 95-94 and ending their three-game losing streak. Tyler Hero had 26 points for the Heats who played without their star Jimmy Butler. The Heat gave the Pistons their first NBA Cup game after Malik Beasley made a tie breaking free throw with 1.1 seconds left in overtime after Miami was given a technical foul for calling a timeout when it had none left and the Pistons edged the Heat 123-121.

In their recent game against the Pacers, Bam Adebayo scored 30 points and had 11 rebounds, beating the Indiana Pacers 124-111. Kevin Love scored the Heats first 13 points of the second half as the visitors built a 13-point lead that reached as high as 22 points in the third quarter.
