They enjoy a good record against the Volts, and the Aces skipper would look for a spirited performance from his players.  

Max O'Dowd hasn't scored runs, and he will need to start the innings positively with George Worker. The middle order is strong for the team with Mark Chapman, Robert O'Donnell, and William O'Donnell in the team, and they must build partnerships. The side bats deep with Sean Solia and Ben Horne in the lower middle order, and they will look to use the long handle.   

Lockie Ferguson and Ben Lister have done well with the new ball, and they must take advantage of the early conditions. Louis Delport, Adithya Ashok, and Solia leaked runs in the last game, and the side would expect better spells from them in this game. Chapman will need to bowl well in the supporting role.

Otago Volts Preview

Hamish Rutherford's side made a strong comeback in the last game to defeat the Auckland Aces by 37 runs. After two consecutive losses, it was an excellent effort from the side, and their batsmen and bowlers delivered the goods in the game. As they take on the same opponent, Rutherford would like his side to take inspiration from the last win and improve their position on the points table.  

Hamish Rutherford and Thorn Parkes gave a good start in the last game, and the duo shall look to do the same in the next game. Dean Foxcroft, Josh Finnie, and Michael Rippon looked good in the middle order, and they will look to do well in this game. Llew Johnson and Jake Gibson need to add quick runs in the game lower down the order.  

Their bowlers had a good day in the last game. Matthew Bacon and Andrew Hazeldine must bowl good lines with the new ball and pick early wickets.
