After what has been a very exciting 40 games of the 2025 Bangladesh Premier League group stage, we are left with only two more fixtures ahead of the play-offs. There is a top three clash between the Chittagong Kings and leaders Fortune Barishal on Saturday evening but ahead of that comes this meeting between Dhaka Capitals and Khulna Tigers.

With a win required to keep themselves in the hunt for a top four position, Dhaka Capital produced an awful batting display in the first innings against Fortune Barishal and their fate was sealed. As a result, Thisara Perera's side are already eliminated from the competition and will be playing purely for pride at the Sher'e Bangla National Stadium on Saturday.
The skipper, keeper-batter Litton Das and Ronsford Beaton at number nine were the only players to make double-figure scores in the team's total of 73 with Perera the lone six hitter in the side!
