MI Score Over 70.5 in 6 Overs @ 1.80 (1XBET)

RCB have posted a massive 240/4, setting Mumbai Indians a mammoth target. This is a high-scoring contest and MI will need to come out all guns blazing from ball one, staying ahead of the required rate in the powerplay. With dangerous batters at the top of their order, MI will look to attack from the first over. We are backing Mumbai Indians to go past 70.5 in 6 overs.

2026-04-12 21:15:47

RCB Score Under 248.5 in 20 Overs @ 1.83 (1XBET)

RCB score at the end of 17 overs is 201/3. Bumrah has one over left and two new batters out in the middle, Mumbai will look to drag the run rate back and probably RCB will score another 40 runs in the next three overs and we predict their score to be under 249 runs in 20 overs.

2026-04-12 20:39:41

RCB Score Over 179.5 in 15 Overs @ 1.86 (1XBET)

The carnage continues as RCB skipper Rajat Patidar has come in and immediately taken the attack to the MI bowlers, blazing 23 off just 6 balls with three sixes. Virat Kohli is also in magnificent touch on 39 off 30 balls and the last five overs have produced a stunning 69 runs. With RCB scoring at 12 an over and the MI bowlers taking a hammering, we are backing RCB to go past 179.5 in 15 overs.

2026-04-12 20:19:26

RCB Score Over 135.5 in 12 Overs @ 1.85 (1XBET)

RCB are absolutely on fire, powering to 95 for none after eight overs with Phil Salt putting on a stunning display, hammering 68 off just 29 balls with five sixes. Virat Kohli is providing the perfect foil on 25 and the opening partnership has put on 95 off just 48 balls. The last five overs have produced a massive 62 runs without loss and the MI bowlers are being taken apart. We are backing Royal Challengers Bengaluru to go past 135.5 in 12 overs.

2026-04-12 19:49:53

RCB Score Over 61.5 in 6 Overs @ 1.83 (1XBET)

RCB are flying out of the blocks, racing to 33/0 after 3 overs with both openers in devastating form. Phil Salt is leading the charge on 19 off just 11 balls with a six, while Virat Kohli is equally aggressive on 13 off 7 balls. The opening partnership has put on 33 off just 18 balls and Trent Boult has already gone for 24 in two overs. With both batters set and the bowling under pressure, we are backing RCB to go past 61.5 in 6 overs.

Match 20 of IPL 2026 brings a lively contest between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai have not started well this season, with one win and two losses on the bounce, leaving them eighth on the table right now. RCB, on the other hand, have started superbly with two wins from three games, keeping them in third place on the table. However, they are coming off a deflating loss against Rajasthan Royals and will need to regroup. That said, Mumbai are never easy at the Wankhede, and if their batters get going, they can put RCB under real pressure.

Mumbai Indians Preview

Mumbai Indians began their campaign with a strong win over KKR but have slipped since then, losing two on the bounce against Delhi Capitals by six wickets and Rajasthan Royals by 27 runs. In their previous outing, they were chasing 151 in 11 overs in a rain-affected game but could only reach 123 for 9. Those results have pushed them down to eighth place, and they will be looking to turn things around as they return to their home ground.

Their batting has not clicked in both defeats, which is an area they will want to improve on, especially with good batting conditions expected at the Wankhede.

Rohit Sharma will again be in focus. He has made 118 runs in three matches this season, averaging close to 40 with a strike rate of 169. Rohit also has seven fifties against RCB and will look to add another, though he will face a test against Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Ryan Rickelton has given him decent support at the top with 98 runs in three games at a strike rate of 169. The middle order has been patchy, though. Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya are important for Mumbai, but none have gone big so far. One of them could step up here, and Suryakumar and Tilak look in better touch. Suryakumar averages 43 at this venue, which makes him a solid pick to score at least 30.

On the bowling front, Shardul Thakur has taken four wickets but has gone for 13 runs per over. Jasprit Bumrah is yet to get a wicket but has been economical, giving away only eight per over, and his contest with Virat Kohli could be interesting.

Others like Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar, Hardik Pandya, and AM Ghazanfar have had mixed outings. Pandya could have a big role here given his record at this ground, with 1116 runs and 49 wickets in 65 T20 matches.

MI Over/Under Betting Tips

Total Fours Over 15.5 @ 1.85

Mumbai Indians are a strong boundary-hitting side, averaging over 19 fours per match this season. At Wankhede, with the fast outfield and short square boundaries, expect their top order of Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton, and Suryakumar Yadav to regularly find the fence.

Powerplay Score Over 58.5 @ 1.80

Mumbai Indians are averaging 60.3 runs in the first six overs this season and the last time they played at Wankhede Stadium they scored 80 runs in the first six overs.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Preview

Royal Challengers Bengaluru started their campaign with back-to-back wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings at home before slipping to a six-wicket defeat against Rajasthan Royals. They managed 201 in that match, but RR chased it down comfortably in 18 overs.

RCB did not have the best outing with the bat in that game, finding themselves at 125 for 7 before Rajat Patidar stepped up with 63 off 40 balls to take them past 200. They will want a better display at the Wankhede, a ground that offers conditions similar to Bengaluru and tends to favour batters.

In spite of that loss, there have been solid contributions from their main players. Virat Kohli has scored 129 runs in three matches, while Devdutt Padikkal has made 125 in that time. Padikkal has looked in top form, scoring two fifties and striking at 202. The top order looks reliable with Kohli, Philip Salt, and Padikkal all doing well.

Patidar has also done well in the middle overs, scoring 142 runs at a strike rate of 200 and helping RCB post big totals. Tim David and Romario Shepherd add more options in the lower middle order.

David has been in fine touch, striking at 225 and smashing nine sixes this season. He has also smashed 28 sixes at the Wankhede in 17 T20s, so expect some more big hits from him here. Shepherd has also chipped in with a strike rate close to 175 since 2025. Both can score quickly in the closing overs, especially on a small ground like this.

RCB will welcome back Josh Hazlewood, who was their top wicket taker last season with 22 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 17.54. He and Bhuvneshwar Kumar can make early inroads. Their contest against Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton could be important in deciding the flow of the game. Suyash Sharma and Krunal Pandya will also have a role in the middle overs against Mumbai’s middle order. Pandya has been excellent this season. Picking up four wickets while going at 10 an over. RCB might also consider bringing in Rasikh Salam Dar in place of Abhinandan Singh, who has gone at over 12 runs an over.

RCB Over/Under Betting Tips

Total Fours Over 16.5 @ 1.95

RCB have hit a total of 49 fours in their last three matches, averaging 16.3 fours per match, and cleared the 16-fours mark in two of those three games. Against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium since 2023, they have hit a combined 33 fours across two matches.

Total Sixes Over 10.5 @ 1.90

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the best six-hitting team this season, averaging a staggering 13 sixes per match. They have hit over 10 sixes in two of their three matches this season. Against Mumbai Indians, they are averaging 12 sixes per match over the last two seasons at Wankhede Stadium.

Powerplay Score Over 58.5 @ 1.85

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are averaging 63 runs per match in the first six overs this season and scored over 60 runs in the last two matches. On a good batting track, expect RCB to dominate early on in the powerplay overs and their score to be over 58.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Predicted Playing XI:

Virat Kohli, Philip Salt, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar(c), Jitesh Sharma(w), Tim David, Romario Shepherd, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Abhinandan Singh/Rasikh Salam Dar, Josh Hazlewood Impact Subs: Suyash Sharma, Jacob Bethell

Seven matches took place at Wankhede during IPL 2025, where the average first innings total ended up at 175, and three scores crossed the 200 mark. In the first game at this ground this season, KKR posted 220 for 4 after batting first, but Mumbai chased it down comfortably in 19.1 overs.

This surface suits batting, and players will look to take advantage early in the powerplay when field restrictions are in place. Fast bowlers might get some swing in the opening overs, though that phase does not last long, and teams can push for around 70 to 80 runs in the powerplay. Spinners could find a bit of grip in the first innings, though they tend to have less help later on. Overall, conditions should stay good for batting, and plenty of boundaries can be expected given the strength in both lineups.

If Mumbai bat first, they could aim to get close to the 200 to 210 range. RCB, given the strength in their batting, may set their sights slightly higher and push towards a total around 215 to 225.

Total Over/Under Betting Tips

Total Match Score Over 390.5 @ 1.86

The total match score in the previous match played at this venue was 441 runs, and the last two seasons of MI vs RCB fixtures at Wankhede produced an average total match score of 415 runs.

Total Match Sixes Over 20.5 @ 1.80

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are averaging 13 sixes per match this season, while Mumbai Indians are averaging 7.6. The last time these two teams met at Wankhede Stadium, the total sixes in the match was 25. With RCB's explosive batting lineup and Wankhede's short boundaries, expect another high six-hitting contest well over the 20.5 line.

Mumbai Indians to win the coin toss @ 1.85

We back Mumbai Indians to win the coin toss in today's match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Wankhede Stadium.

Toss: To Bowl

Teams have preferred batting second in 14 of the 16 IPL 2026 fixtures completed. The reason? Night matches in India favor chasing sides. Both skippers will likely choose to field first if they win the toss.

This is an important match for Mumbai Indians, who have lost their last two games and slipped to eighth place on the table. They are in need of a win here to move up the standings. For that to happen, their batting unit has to deliver as a whole against an RCB side that is in good touch and packed with hard hitters. On top of that, their bowling has been expensive, with almost everyone apart from Bumrah going at over 10 runs per over.

RCB, on the other hand, will stick to their current style, where the batters go hard from the first ball and try to take control, whether they are batting first or chasing. Their bowling unit, barring Abhinandan, also looks capable of backing that approach. This game could be close as the pitch is expected to be good for batting, and with power hitters on both sides, it may turn into a high-scoring contest that could go right to the end. But given their current form and balance, RCB look the better side here.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are our picks for the winners of this match.
