Like every year, the Seagulls have felt the sting of losing stars before the start of a season. This time it's Joao Pedro who is leaving for Stamford Bridge and now whispers link Carlos Baleba with Manchester United. 

Yet, Brighton are boosting their squad with exciting signings: 18-year-old forward Charalampos Kostoulas and the attack-minded left-back Maxim De Cuyper. Both of whom could play a key role in a squad that's very attack minded.

Georginio Rutter will be one to watch from Brighton this season. In his debut season as No.10, he delivered a strong 12 goal contributions and now, with Joao Pedro gone, the Seagulls will be counting on him to step up even more.

And this year, one key focus for Silva will be stopping the team from throwing away matches from winning positions.

Unlike other teams in the league, the Cottagers have been passive in the transfer window. Till now, there has been only one signing made—Benjamin Lecomte, a 34-year-old goalkeeper. Nonetheless, with Antonee Robinson sidelined, Fulham might also be looking to reinforce their left-back spot, leaving questions about defensive depth hanging over Silva’s squad.

Touted as the “Croydon De Bruyne,” Emile Smith Rowe had an under-par  season with just six goals and three assists. With everything to prove, he could become the X-factor that pushes Fulham into the top 10—Silva worked wonders with Iwobi, and Rowe might just be next.
