One of the most consistent sides of the season, the Bengaluru Bulls have remained in the top 3 on the points table almost through the season. They notched 13 victories from 22 matches earning 74 points to qualify for the playoff. Their plan was to finish in the top 2 so that they could get a direct entry to the semi-finals. But they lost a few games in the later half of the tournament which forced them to take the eliminator route. 

The Bulls have one of the best attacks on the circuit with raiders like Bharat Hooda, Vikash Kandola, and Neeraj Narwal. Though Neeraj Narwal was injured in the last league game against U Mumba, he looks fit to play the eliminator.

The defending champion will consider themselves lucky to have bagged a spot in the eliminators. They were fighting for the last spot with the Haryana Steelers and Gujarat Fortune Giants in the last few league matches. They forced a TIE in their last league match against the Bengal Warriors which helped them squeeze into the next round. 

Dabang Delhi started the season with a bang winning their first 5 matches. But they were shocked by the Patna Pirates and thus began a maverick journey for the defending champions. They lost the next 6 matches which surprised many. Even their fans were in tears watching their team go down to lower-ranked teams. The major concern was a total breakdown in their defense. 

Naveen Kumar spearheaded the attack but the defense leaked points in the last 12 matches. Dabang was able to win only 10 out of their 22 matches. They conned the Haryana Steelers by 2 points in the points table to book their ticket for the eliminators. But the defending champions have a mammoth task in front of them as they take on the Bengaluru Bulls whom they have not defeated this season.

Naveen Kumar has scored 246 raid points which include 16 Super 10’s. He was ably supported by young raiders Manjeet and Ashu Malik. But it was all-rounder Vijay Kumar who was the savior for Dabang in their last 6 matches. 

Unfortunately, Dabang has a brittle defense even though left cover Vishal has been their most consistent defender. He has executed 57 successful tackles in 21 matches. 

Dabang Delhi has earned 887 team points in the season which is the highest by any team. But at the same time, they have conceded 870 team points. Out of the 887 team points, only 241 are team tackle points. Apart from this, the defending champions have also conceded 37 all-outs in 22 matches which is their major concern.

This will be the biggest test for Dabang Delhi as they take on the Bulls. The eliminator is a one-way street as a loss will send the defending champions back home.

Welcome to the most exciting part of the season where the top 6 teams clash for the knockouts. Dabang Delhi and the Bengaluru Bulls will face each other in the eliminator with the winner getting a spot in the semi-finals. 

Dabang Delhi will get another opportunity to weave its magic. But they have a lot of issues to sort out. Dabang will depend largely on the exploits of Naveen Kumar. He will score a Super 10 along with all-rounder Vijay Kumar. Ashu Malik will work as the third raider. But the biggest worry for Dabang is their defense. Amit Hooda and Sandeep Dhull will be effective but they will have to work overtime. Dabang did well in their defense against Bengal Warriors and they will expect a similar effort.

The Bengaluru Bulls will be aggressive from the first raid. Bharat Hooda will score a Super 10 while Neeraj Narwal and Vikash Kandola will target the Delhi defenders. The Bulls may just allow Naveen to earn a lot but their defenders will clip the wins of the other raiders. Captain Saurabh Nandal and left corner Aman will inflict an all-out early in the match.

This will be a high-scoring affair.
