The Bulls have been through a disappointing month in season 10 as they are placed 8th in the points table after playing 14 matches. They were totally out of sorts in their first few games. Such was the confusion among their team, that they could not challenge their opponents in most games. Fortunately, they have starting getting their act together since the last week of December. The Bulls have won 3 out of their last 5 matches which should give some hope to their fans. 

The Bulls defeated the Telegu Titans in front of a full house at Hyderabad. This was their second encounter with their southern rivals this season. Once again their main raiders failed to impress as Bharat Hooda and Abhishek Singh could not score. Vikash Kandola did score 6 raid points, but these are peanuts compare to his standards. Bengaluru Bulls introduced young raider Akshit who stole the show. He earned 9 raid points as the Bulls were able to defeat the Titans by a huge margin of 16 points. Defenders Ran Sing and Sourabh Nandal scored 2 tackle points each but veteran Surjeet has been ruthless since the last couple of matches. He scored 7 tackle points to totally destroy the Telegu Titans. The Bulls will hope that Surjeet continues this good form against the Tamil Thalaiva. 

Bengaluru Bulls have been off-color in season 10. They have been tactically undone by most of their opponents. In an earlier encounter they got thrashed by the Puneri Paltan. Hence their fans are wondering what will happen to the Bulls in the 2024. Raiding has been a major problem for the Bulls. The Tamil Thalaiva finds itself in the 11th spot in the points table. The first month of the league has been a mixed bag for the Thalaiva as they started on a positive note. They defeated the mighty Dabang Delhi in their first match. The Thalaiva fans were elated to see their team getting such a brilliant start. Their major concern has been drop in raiding intensity. At the beginning of the season, it looked as if Tamil Thalaiva had the best balance among all teams. Raiders Narender Kandola and Ajinkya Pawar were complementing each other. Captain Sagar and Sahil Gulia were unstoppable in defense. 

But off-late the men in yellow have struggled to win matches. They have won just 4 out of their 13 games. Their 4th victory came in the last match as they surprised the Patna Pirates. They mopped up the match quickly as each and every member of the starting 7 contributed. Raiders Narender earned 6 raid points while Ajinkya Pawar scored a Super 10. Tamil defenders scored 21 tackle points which totally smashed the Pirates. Sahil Gulia scored 5 tackle points while defender M Abhishek looted 7 tackle points in the match. This is the only way that the Thalaiva can win games. They have displayed tenacity and agility in some matches but until they work together as a team, the men in yellow will not get the desired results.

The Tamil Thalaiva has a dismal record against the Bengaluru Bulls. They have won just 2 out of their 13 encounters. They have defeated the Bulls just once in their last 6 meetings. They came close to shocking the Bulls in their last match which they lost just 1 point. They should have won the match or at least forced a TIE. The Thalaiva needs to be more tactical while handling the Bulls. The Tamil Thalaiva need to stick with a particular combination. In trying to utilize all their raiding resources, they tend to give very less mat time to their youngsters. They have used the combo of Narender and Ajinkya Pawar. They can try using the pair of Himanshu Singh and Jatin. Instead of surprising their opponents, the Thalaiva seems to confusing itself into submission. This will be the toughest match for Tamil Thalaiva.

Both teams need a win desperately to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. The Bengaluru Bulls are going through a drought of earnings via raids. Though Bharat Hooda looked out of sorts in the last match, he will strike back. Still none of the Bengaluru raiders will be able to score a Super 10.  They will be totally dependent on their defenders. Surjeet, Ran Singh and Sourabh Nandal will be precise with their moves.
