Bengal Warriors Preview

Bengal Warriors will be living with themselves on the number of matches they have shelled out from winning positions, at a time where every win matters, the Warriors have now lost four of their last five games, out of which they lost three of their last four games by a margin of 3 points or less.  In their last outing against the Telugu Titans, the Bengal Warriors were trailing by one point at half time with the scoreline being 17-16, but they did make a comeback in the second half but they conceded three points due to self outs and defensive errors which caused them the game and they also conceded one all-out which was the difference between the two teams.

Maninder Singh with 12 raid points and 2 tackle points finished the game with 14 points, Manjeet with five tackle points and two raid points contributed on both ends of the mat. other than these two players none of them managed to score two tackle points with Mayur Kadam, Siddesh Tatkare, Fazel Atrachali, Nitesh Kumar all finishing with a solitary tackle point.

The Warriors still have an outside chance of making it to the playoffs, with six games left if they can win all the six then they will end up with 62 points, but they will need other teams results to go their way big time to stay within the touching distance.

The Warriors this season, on average, score 33.44 points and concede 37.56 points per game. Their raiding unit is averaging 19.81 raid points per game, the fifth-best this season, and their defense is averaging 10.31 tackle points per game, ranked 10th. Nitin Dhankar, with 118 raid points, and Fazel Atrachali, with 45 tackle points, are the top performers for the Warriors in the season so far.

Bengal Warriors Probable Starting 7 - Pranay Rane, Maninder Singh, Mayur Kadam, Fazel Atrachali, Nitesh Kumar, Manjeet, Siddesh Tatkare

Bengaluru Bulls Preview

Bengaluru Bulls on the other hand will be slightly happy with the way their last game panned out where they finally put an end to their eight match losing streak. Against the Gujarat Giants a game that swung like pendulum towards both the teams, where the Bulls were leading at the end of the 1st half by two points with the scoreline being 15-13, but their raiders didn't do well that proved to be the difference maker in the end.

Pardeep Narwal with 6 raid points (4 touch & 2 bonus), Sushil with 6 raid points (5 touch & 1 bonus) did a really good job, on the defensive end it was a masterclass of ankle holds, dashes and thigh holds from the left corner Nitin Rawal who finished the game with 7 tackle points, which was also his fifth high 5 of the season. Saurabh Nandal also chipped in with three tackle points.

The Bulls have nothing to loose from here on as they are already eliminated from the playoff's race, but their performance in the backend of this Pune leg could well determine the fate of most of the teams with playoff aspirations. The Bulls will look to come up charged and if they can pin down Maninder Singh then the Bulls will have the best of chances to win the game.

This season, the Bulls have averaged 31.19 points per game and conceded 39.31 points per game. Their raiding unit averages 17.5 raid points per game, and their defense averages 10.94 tackle points per game led by Nitin Rawal with 59 tackle points.

Bengaluru Bulls Probable Starting 7 - Pardeep Narwal, Akshit Dhull, Jai Bhawan, Sunny Sherawat, Parteek, Saurabh Nandal, Nitin Rawal

Bengal Warriors, despite their recent struggles, have a strong chance to bounce back against the Bengaluru Bulls. With Maninder Singh and Manjeet leading the charge, the Warriors can overcome the Bulls' defense. If they can limit Pardeep Narwal's impact and capitalize on their defensive strengths, the Warriors could secure a crucial victory to keep their playoff hopes alive.
