One of the best teams of the season, former champions Bengal take on the Puneri Paltan in their last home game of the season. The Warriors are in a desperate situation as they are placed 7th in the points table. Haryana Steelers are ahead of them as just 1 spot remains in the next round. The pressure of Bengal is much higher as they have just 2 more league matches while Haryana has 4. This puts them at a slight disadvantage. Hence the Bengal Warriors have to win their remaining 2 matches with very huge margins. Unfortunately they bump into the Puneri Paltan. Bengal lost to the Paltan earlier in the season. It was a knock-out performance by Pune as they defeated Bengal by 30 points. Will the Warriors be able to overcome such a thrashing?

The Paltan has already qualified for the next round as they aim to win the title after coming close last season. They have been one of the most consistent sides of season 10. Barring a few matches which ended as a TIE, the Paltan has not bowed before any opponent. Their most important weapon has been teamwork and fitness of all players. Overall the Paltan has one of the most balanced squads among all teams. Raiders Aslam Inamdar, Mohit Goyat and Pankaj Mohite are supported by Akash Shinde and R Nitin. Defenders Abhinesh, Sanket Sawant and Gaurav Khatri are the best in the business. Left corner Mohammedreza has added sting to their already strong defense. 

Puneri Paltan has already qualified for the next round. They have the least number of losses in the season. They have the best team tackle success rate in the tournament which is about 57%. Their success rate in team raids is about 39%. None of their raiders are in the top 10, yet the trio of Aslam, Mohit Goyat and Pankaj Mohite has been lethal. 

They have inflicted 37 all-outs in the season as well as earned 281 team tackle points which is the highest by any team.

Puneri Paltan made quick work of the Tamil Thalaiva in the last match. They smashed the men in yellow by a margin of 27 points. The Paltan has the best score difference in the points table.
