Stand-in Captain Ashu Malik has led his team from the front even though he had a young team. Dabang has won its last 4 matches which has given their fans a lot of hope. Delhi’s journey in this season has been in 3 phases. They started off well by winning their first few matches. Suddenly they experienced a drop in form as well as the unavailability of Naveen Kumar. This resulted in Dabang losing a few games. But they have revamped themselves and currently are placed 3rd in the points table with 7 victories from 11 matches. 

The way Dabang Delhi dominated U Mumba in their last match proves that they have nerves of steel. Ashu Malik scored a Super 10 in that match while right corner Yogesh scored 4 tackle points. Raiders Manjeet Sharma and Meetu Sharma have turned out to be perfect partners for Ashu Malik. Hence Dabang has overcome its raiding issues. Delhi thrashed Gujarat Giants and UP Yodha in their earlier matches. But it had a tough time defeating the Patna Pirates. They won that match by just 1 point. Dabang Delhi will face their toughest test as they take on arch-rivals Pirates once again.

Time is running out for them as they get ready to take on Dabang Delhi. Patna has won just 2 out of its last 5 games which is a big worry for them. They came close to defeating Delhi in their last encounter, but lost the match by just 1 point. They will be looking forward for redemption. 

Time and again in this season, the Pirates have struggled to earn raid points. Experienced Sachin Tanwar was lukewarm in the initial matches, though he got back to his old ways very soon. But support raider Manjeet too have been out of form. Third raider M Suhdakar has been consistent but overall the three have not resonated through the 11 matches. The Pirates have improved on their success rate in team raids in the last few matches but that has not been enough for them to win games. Their efficiency in team tackles is just about 37%. But even in his absence, the Delhi raiders led by Ashu Malik will have a gala time. Ashu Malik will score a Super 10. The young Delhi defense will be under tremendous pressure. But corners Yogesh and Ashish will be audacious with their tackles. One of them will score a Hi 5. Dabang Delhi may start slowly but they will pick up pace post half-time.
