Adaptability has been the key to their success. They introduced young raider Sonu in the first few matches. He ended executing 4 Super raids in 4 games. With him being decoded, Gujarat got raider Rakesh to continue the earnings. But it was raider Prateek Dahiya who brewed a whirlpool in the last match as he earned 25 points against the Bengal Warriors. With his hurricane raiding, Gujarat inflicted 2 all-outs by half time to earn 28 points. It was the one-man army Prateek who celebrated the arrival of the new-year by marauding the Bengal Warriors. 

This unprecedented move from the Gujarat Giants will be a cause of worry for Dabang Delhi and all the other teams. Apart from the dangerous raiding, the Gujarat Giants have one of the best defense in the tournament. Fazel Attrachali has executed 23 successful tackles in 9 matches.  All-rounder Rohit Gulia and defender Sombir have been consistent. Hence Gujarat has a healthy success rate of 38% in team tackles. They have won 4 games while Delhi had to settle for a TIE in one of the matches. They look extremely confident in the presence of Naveen Kumar. But the moment is not part of the team, Dabang Delhi look vulnerable. Though young Ashu Malik has stepped in as the captain, he has to quickly get his team minting out victories. 

Dabang Delhi beat arch-rivals UP Yodha in their last match. Ashu Malik scored a Super 10 while left corner Ashish scored a Hi 5. Delhi exploited the weak UP Yodha defense to inflict 2 all-outs in the match. But consistency has eluded Dabang Delhi. They were forced to settle for a TIE against the Jaipur Pink Panthers while they got hammered by the Puneri Paltan earlier in the month. With Naveen Kumar not available for some matches, Delhi has struggled in general.

Former Champions has a success rate of about 42% in team raids while their efficiency in team tackles is about 39%. They need to improve on their defense as the tournament progresses. Delhi has to be very careful against the Gujarat Giants. Though Delhi has not lost to the Giants since season 7, a lot of things have changed for them since then. Gujarat has a lethal defense in the form of Fazel Attrachali and Sombir. The young Delhi defenders will have to face one-man army Prateek Dahiya along with raider Rakesh. Dabang will sincerely hope that Naveen Kumar comes back, else they may be become the punching bag for the Gujarat Giants.

Welcome to one of the most exciting bouts of 2024 as the Gujarat Giants take on Dabang Delhi. This will be a face-off between Gujarat raider Prateek Dahiya and the young Delhi defense. This will be a test for Dabang as they counter legend Fazel Attrachali.
