Fortune Giants have had a mixed start to their campaign this season. Beating the Pink Panthers in their first encounter and coming close to upsetting the defending champions in the next. They lost to Bengal Warriors by mere 3 points. Sunil Kumar was off colour and so was left corner Girish Ernak who blocked successfully in their first match. A few unforced errors from Parvesh in the middle of the game cost them valuable points.

But the silver lining is the form of raider Rakesh Narwal who scored a Super10 in the last match as well as Rakesh. 

Along with experienced Sunil Kumar and Hadi Osterak, , young players like Vishav Chaudhary, Sohit Malik, Sonu Singh, Bhuvaneshwar and Harmajit have a golden opportunity to amalgamate themselves in this winning recipe. 

Fortune Giants will have to get the sting back in their defence as they seem to be ticking all the right boxes otherwise.

It is not surprising at all that last season’s runner up’s are back in full flow this time. Dabang Delhi have displayed a very pleasant and beautiful form of Kabaddi in their opening encounters. They kept their cool against U Mumba to beat them in a close match.

Dabang Delhi is a double edged sword, beautifully forged, sharp and easy to hold.

Naveen Express completed the fastest 500 points in the history of PKL in the last match. He looks fluid, cool and devastating.  Captain Joginder weaved a solid defence along with Ajay Thakur, Manjit Chillar and Jeeva Kumar to steal 8 tackle points in the last game.

Manjit Singh looks very dangerous with this ankle holds and Sandeep Narwal’s blocking was fantastic in the last match. All rounder Vijay is a good second raider but verteran Ajay Thakur will have to perform better in the raiding department if in case Naveen has a bad day at the office.

It’s a battle between two very sharp teams. Dabang Delhi has the firepower with Naveen Express running on schedule. 

Fortune Giants are brick and mortar warriors who like to work on the fundamental of “Strength and Honour”.

Delhi has found rhythm in all departments of the game and they will try and target defenders Sunil and Girish Ernak. Coach Manpreet may come up with a few surprises in the opening line up.

Sandeep Narwal will be the key for the Dabangs as he will be expected to pro actively create blockages and help the team earn tackle points.

It will be a low scoring game, very close, team with more unforced errors will lose.

Dabang Delhi will beat the Fortune Giants, but with a slender margin.
