They started with a hat-trick of victories which was a dream start for them in season 10. Unfortunately they lost the next 2 games, as if they suddenly came across speed breakers on the highway. They have lost 3 out of their last 5 matches. 

A below average performance in their last match against the Patna Pirates will hurt the Giants. Gujarat could score just 20 points in the entire match. Defender Dipak Singh was the only player worth mentioning in the match as he scored 4 tackle points. The entire Gujarat defense was spineless as they earned just 8 tackle points in the entire match. Gujarat could execute just 10 successful raids out of their total 42 in the match. Such a performance is not inspiring for the Giants as they have slipped to the 6th spot in the points table. Gujarat Giants were forced to use many players in this match as most of their players from the starting 7 were off the mat. Coach Manpreet was animated through the match as usual. He will be pleased with his boys as this is the flavor of the Steelers. But Sultan Fazel Attrachali is in charge of the Giants and he can spring a surprise for the Steelers. Welcome to the battle of nerves as the Gujarat Giants take on the Haryana Steelers. This will be a contest for the most coveted 5th spot in the points table. Gujarat has been a bit untidy in their last few matches. It will be a challenge for their raiders to earn against the Steelers. Prateek Dahiya and Rakesh will earn enough raid points but none of them will be able to score a Super 10. The biggest concern for Gujarat will be their defense. Sombir will perform beyond expectations but Fazel Attrachali and others may not be able to save their fortress. 

The Haryana Steelers will unleash raiders Siddharth and Shivam Patare. One of them will score a Super 10. Captain Jaideep Dahiya and Mohit Nandal will be ruthless. Right corner Rahul Sethpal has been out of form, but he will bounce back with a stellar performance in this match. The Steelers will take the lead by half-time but the Giants will bounce back in the second half. The match will be full of aggressive tackles from both sides.
