The Gujarat giants are running out of time in this season. They are placed 6th in the points table with just a few games left. They lost to the Haryana Steelers in their last match. It was a tough game where the Gujarat raiders ran out of gas. None of the raiders could score a Suepr 10. The Giants were at their defensive best but conceded a lot of points. They led by 11 points at half-time only to suffer a terrible breakdown in the last 20 minutes of the match. They conceded 2 all-outs in the second half which took the game away from them. This puts the Giants in a terrible position. The Bengal Warriors and Bengaluru Bulls are breathing down their neck for a place in the next round. They shocked Dabang Delhi in their first match and then posted a victory against the Telegu Titans. After winning 4 consecutive matches, the Thalaiva lost to the Jaipur Pink Panthers. Though Narender Kandola scored a Super 10, their support raiders could not complement his efforts. The Tamil defense too was lackluster as defender Mohit scored 3 points without much support from the others. Tamil Thalaiva can consider this as a bad day at the office. But time is running out for the men in yellow as they are placed 9th in the points table after playing 17 matches. They have to win all their remaining games to stake claim to the next round. Tamil Thalaiva was winning due to the exploits of their raiders Narender Kandola and Ajinkya Pawar. Captain Sagar and Sahil Gulia have been rock solid but one can’t win a match without raiding income. 

The men in yellow need to revitalize themselves urgently. They do not have an alternative plan of action.

But they seem to be unsure about their strategy. Should the Thalaiva go all out or totally on the defensive? 

They have to answer this very quickly as they take on the Gujarat Giants. The Thalaiva lost to the Giants in their first meeting of season 10. That was a defeat by just 3 points. Winning Prediction

Tamil Thalaiva face a do-or-die situation as they take on the Gujarat Giants. The Thalaiva has to come up with a new raiding combination. It will be interesting to see how they formulate this. Narender Kandola and Ajikya Pawar will struggle but they will manage to earn. Captain Sagar and Sahil Gulia will be aggressive from the beginning and they will not allow the trouble the Gujarat raiders. Tamil Thalaiva may just be able to exploit the weak Gujarat raiding and they will force an all-out very early in the match. 

The Giants will not be able to score freely against a tough Tamil defense. Fazel Attrachali and Sombir will tackle successfully while right cover Dipak Singh will deliver a standout performance. This will be a low scoring match as both teams have issues with their raiding. But the second half may witness some fireworks if the Thalaiva decides to counter attack. Unforced errors from both sides will add to the entertainment.
