This is the last leg of the tournament and back-to-back games will be a norm. Dabang Delhi announced that they are still a force to reckon with as they beat the Patna Pirates in a tough game. They won the low-scoring match by a margin of 3 points. 

Meanwhile, the Haryana Steelers have gone from bad to worse as they have not been able to motivate themselves. They got thrashed by the Puneri Paltan and they have been pushed to the 10th spot in the points after playing 15 matches.

The Haryana Steelers have themselves to blame. They have a young and exciting bunch of players but they lacked self-belief. They have won just 5 games out of the 15 they have played and are placed 10th in the points table. They have been able to win just 1 out of their last 5 games as they struggle to survive in this tournament.

The Haryana Steelers have conducted just 238 successful team raids and executed 128 successful team tackles.

Their success rate in raids is just 38% and 36% in tackles.

They cannot survive or win games with such low vitality. That has been the reason for them slipping down the points table regularly. They had to settle for a couple of tied games this season and they could have easily won a few games which they lost. This has complicated matters for them.

The Steelers get themselves in trouble most of the time resulting in a lesser number of players on the mat. This has forced them to execute 12 Super tackles in 15 matches.

It takes champions to rise from the ashes and aim for the impossible. Dabang Delhi got caught in a web of confusion and self-doubts to fall into quicksand. After winning their first 5 games, Dabang looked totally out of sorts and lost their next 6 matches. They looked vulnerable, scratchy, and listless.

But if their last victory is any indication, a lot may change for them in the coming days. They take on the Haryana Steelers in a must-win game for them as they get ready to play back-to-back games in 2 days. They beat the fancied Patna Pirates in a low-scoring match which displayed grit and strategy from Dabang Delhi. 

Once they realized that Naveen Kumar won’t be able to contribute much in the match, they shifted gears and allowed Vijay Malik to take charge of the raiding while their defenders worked overtime to tame the Pirates. Right corner Amit Hooda and left cover Vishal combined to forge a deadly partnership earning 10 tackle points together. 

Dabang Delhi played on empty raids gambling on the Dod and inflicted an all-out on the Pirates in the second half to win the match. Dabang will have to shock and surprise their opponents henceforth to win games and keep their hopes alive.

They will be up against an out-of-form Haryana Steelers. But Dabang has always faltered against them historically. Dabang Delhi has a good chance to seal this match and march ahead in the points table.

Dabang Delhi will be playing their second match in two days and they will have to overcome fatigue. Naveen Kumar could not deliver in the last game as he was out for almost 30 minutes. Dabang will unleash raider Ashu Malik along with Vijay and both will earn well exploiting the weak Steelers defense.  

Dabang defenders Vishal and Amit Hooda will be on fire again trapping Haryana raider Manjeet. Haryana Steelers will hope that either Manjeet Dahiya or Meetu Sharma scores a Super 10. Defender Jaideep will target Naveen Kumar in the first half. But the Haryana defense will be slippery and lose its intensity in the second half.

The match will be slow in the first half picking up pace post-halftime. Both teams will play carefully but both teams may end up making a lot of unforced errors. Haryana Steelers have to play their natural game and should not try to manipulate the pace of the game as it will backfire on them.
