Young raiders Manjeet and Meetu Sharma have been effective with 68 points together in 5 games, but both do not feature in the top 10 raiders. Haryana is missing a raider like Vikash Kandola who can loot points at will. This puts a lot of pressure on their defense. Though Manjeet and Meetu look good, they do not have much support. If they fail, the Steelers have to depend on all-rounder Nitin Rawal or raiders Vinay and Sushil. That is precisely why the Haryana Steelers could not force things on their opponents.

Their defense has been consistent with Jaideep Dahiya performing exceedingly well. Jaideep and right cover Mohit Nandal have executed 23 successful tackles. Gujarat Fortune Giants will be facing a team that is now coached by their former coach, Manpreet Singh. Both teams use similar tactics as both teams are in the middle of the points table. For a change, Fortune Giants played a high-scoring game against the UP Yodha which they won by a margin of 6 points.

But they have also lost to the Jaipur Pink Panthers in a low-scoring game where the match produced just 43 points in all. Gujarat Fortune Giants have always depended on team effort rather than individual brilliance. Captain Chandran Ranjit and Rakesh scored heavily against the UP Yodha. Both earned 36 raid points collectively. Such was their terror and fluidity on the mat that the Yodha defense crumbled on every raid.

Raider Prateek Dahiya is another revelation of this season as is the one who has staked his claim to become the new “Dubki King”. He has executed this move with finesse just like Superstar Pardeep Narwal. Defender Arkam Shaikh has also been in top form as he has been aggressive and intimidating. Defenders Saurav Gulai and Shankar Gadai make up the rest of the defense and the Fortune Giants have picked up momentum after 5 games. They are placed 7th in the points table as they need to improve their consistency.

They have a brilliant record against the Haryana Steelers but records are just for previews and predictions. Off late, they have not been able to dominate the Steelers. The best part for the Fortune Giants is the way they effortlessly replace their raiders. Chandran Ranjit and Rakesh are their first options, but Prateek and Mahendra Rajput provide a contrast.
