Haryana Steelers had a phenomenal outing against the Patna Pirates in one of the most heated games of the season, where the coach of the Steelers openly said that the Pirates are one of the weakest teams in the season, but the Pirates almost proved them wrong where the Steelers were trailing by one point at half time with the scoreline being 16-17. But the grit and determination of the Steelers was clearly on display in the second half as they pulled the game back in their favour, outscoring the Pirates 26-19 and clinching the game 42-36. Few controversial calls from the referees where an yellow card to Devan with three minutes remaining in the game also helped the Steelers. 

Shivam Patare with 11 raid points (10 touch & 1 bonus) was the top scorer of the game for the Steelers, Mohammad Reza Shadloui with 9 points (3 raid touch, 1 bonus & 5 tackles) contributed on both the offensive and defensive end and he really proved to be the game changer for the Steelers. Sanjay Dhull was also solid with his blocks and thighs holds where he finished the game with five tackle points.

The Telugu Titans after suffering two close losses and were out of the top six at one point bounce back with a 34-32 last minute nail biting win over the Bengal Warriors.
