Their defence has been blowing hot and cold which has resulted in the Pink Panthers winning 10 out of their 21 games. Fortunately raider Arjun Deshwal has been their star through the season with a phenomenal record. He has earned 249 points from 209 successful raids. He has out-performed everyone and he will spearhead their attack against the Puneri Paltan. 

The guardian combo of Sandeep Dhull and Sahul Kumar have been fearless in their hunting. They may have an off day once in a while but they will be the key to Jaipur in this all important game. The Pink Panther defence has earned 29 tackle points in their last 2 games and this is a sensational record. They will have to repeat this ruthless hunting against the Puneri Paltan. They could have sealed their berth for the next stage with this win. They started off well taking a lead of 9 points in the first 5 minutes. The biggest shocker came when Maninder executed a Puneri all out to take Bengal ahead in the last 5 minutes of the game. The Paltan disintegrated and conceded another all out to lose the match by 9 points. This has kept them shackled to the 7th place as their hopes are now hinged on their match with the Pink Pathers. The game can be ruthless when you take it easy. Puneri Paltan gave 33 points in the 2nd half which is nothing but criminal. They could not keep Maninder off the mat and that hurt them badly. They will have to regroup now and give their best in their last league game. They have all the ammunition which has brought them victories. Defenders Abinesh and Sanket Sawant will have to be at their best when they take on Arjun Deshwal and company. The Pink Pathers will hope that Deepak Hooda is fit to play this crucial encounter.
