Jaipur Pink Panthers have revived their fortunes this season while the Telegu Titans continue to live below the poverty line. Jaipur Pink Panthers have had a roller coaster journey over the years in the PKL. They were the champions of the inaugural season but then their fortunes fluctuated. They had some brilliant players but could not repeat their success in the coming years. They were hardworking in season 8 but lacked the X factor. But this year, the Pink Panther has been roaring as they get ready to challenge the supremacy of the defending champions.

Jaipur has won 4 out of its 5 games and its only loss was in their first match of the season against the UP Yodha. Since they have been in cruise control as they have swept opponents with ease. Raider Arjun Deshwal has played an important role in this transition. The defense led by captain Sunil Kumar added spice to this impact. 

The raiding department is taken care of by Arjun, Ajith, and Rahul Chaudhary. Left cover KS Abhishek has been in top form while right corner Sahul Kumar has found his mojo after an erratic start to the season. The introduction of diminutive but combative left corner Ankush has been a blessing in disguise. He does not hesitate and confuses opposition raiders with his animated moves. Just imagine the scene where Ankush was jumping on Bengal raider Maninder who is almost twice his size. This gives the Pink Panther the spiciness it lacked over the season. 

Jaipur also has the services of raider Bhavani Rajput who has also contributed to the team's cause. Hence the balance is back in the squad resulting in success for the Pink Panther.

Surprisingly the Pink Panthers do not enjoy a great record against the Telegu Titans. They have won just 8 out of their 15 games. But this season looks different as the Titans do not have the firepower to take on the might of the Pink Panthers.

Telugu Titans Preview

Telegu Titans are in a sorry state of affairs. They are languishing at the bottom of the points table, they have superstars in their squad but they seem to lose every game. Telegu Titans get hammered time and again and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. 

Very few things in life bring a smile to their faces. Their only win of the season came against the fancied Patna Pirates while they also enjoy a great record over the Pink Panthers. Apart from these 2 aspects, nothing seems to be going well for the Titans.

Raider Monu Goyat was instrumental for the Titans in their win over the Patna Pirates. He scored a Super 10 against his former team while Siddharth Desai had a decent contribution. The Titan defense was agile as defender Surjeet scored 4 tackle points. That has been the only highlight for the Telegu Titans this season. They do not have any raider or defender in the list of top 10 players while they have conceded 172 points in 5 games.

They have inflicted the lowest all-outs while conceding 8. They are missing a master tactician who can drive this team. Unfortunately when you have a lot of superstars, it becomes complicated to lead such a team. This has resulted in the Titans living on the outskirts of the points table, a life they are generally used to.

They can look back and take solace in the fact that they beat the Pink Panthers once in the last season. The Titans do not have much time or options to pull this back. But they are capable of surprising anyone on the circuit.

This looks like a straightforward prediction. Titans have more worries than strong points to work on. They need to quickly reassess their priorities in terms of using all big players together. They need to inject some spice into their team by blooding in young players like Darshan, Ankit, and Nitin. Raider Vinay is a smooth operator who will trouble the Jaipur defense.

Jaipur Pink Panthers have a golden opportunity to win this game by a huge margin. Arjun Deshwal is unstoppable and he will target Parvesh and Vishal Bharadwaj. Ajith and Rahul Chaudhary will stay away from Surjeet while defenders Aman and Saurav Nandal will enjoy trapping the Titan raiders.

This looks like one-way traffic as the Pink Panthers should win by a large margin.
