This victory will also give them some brownie points as they move into the most crucial phase of the tournament. Jaipur has won 8 out of their 12 matches and look well prepared to qualify for the play-off. 

They had to play back to back games in 2 days. Both matches went down the wire as the Pink Panthers had to work overtime. They defeated the Telegu Titans by just 3 points followed by a 2 point victory over the Puneri Paltan.  Arjun Deshwal was the star in both matches. He scored 30 raid points in these 2 matches. Arjun has earned 137 raid points in 103 successful raids in season 10. He was the MVP last year and not many players are close to challenge him this time. But as Arjun Deshwal is hogging the limelight, Jaipur needs to worry about the consistency of other players. Defender Reza Mirbhagheri scored a Hi5 against the Titans while Captain Sunil Kumar was ruthless against the Paltan as he notched a Hi 5. But this is a long season and the Pink Panthers have to be prepared for the odd breakdown. The support raiders are still a concern for them. But U Mumba has lost its sheen in the last few matches. They lost back to back games after winning 4 on the trot. Next they had to settle for a TIE against the Haryana Steelers.

Though they have persisted with the raiding combination of Guman Singh, Zafardanesh and Jai Bhagwan, the trio has been generally inconsistent. None of these raiders are in the top 10. Hence the raiding income has always been a worry for U Mumba. But Iranian youngster Zafardanesh broke the shackles in the last match as he scored 14 raid points against Haryana. Mumba were under pressure at half-time as they have conceded an all-out. But they held their nerve to inflict 2 all-outs in the second half and saved a match that was slipping away from them. They have won only 6 out of their 11 matches which has pushed them to the 5th position in the points table. They just need to improve their consistency.

U Mumba has the best raiding success rate. Though they may not have the best raiders on the circuit, they have surprised everyone with 44% efficiency in team raids. This is due to the fact that Guman Singh and Zafardanesh have collectively earned raid points. 

They have inflicted 15 all-outs while conceding 13. This is an area where they can improve to earn those additional points. Captain Surender Singh needs to be more precise and consistent. The return of defender Rinku has been a blessing for U Mumba. He earned 4 points in the last match. Rinku is an important cog in the wheel for Mumba. They will need to have faith in their ability and express themselves positively on the mat. Mumba will sincerely hope that they play together as a team instead on depending on individual performances. That is the only way they can defeat Jaipur Pink Panthers.

It is always difficult to beat Jaipur Pink Panthers on their home turf. They will take on arch-rivals U Mumba in their next match. All eyes will be on Arjun Deshwal. He will score a Super 10 against U Mumba. Defenders Ankush, Reza Mirbagheri and Captain Sunil Kumar will be ruthless with their tackles. 2 of these defenders will score a Hi 5. The biggest concern will be the support raiders. If Arjun Deshwal is kept off the mat for long, Jaipur will shift to their defensive tactics and then this match could be a low scoring one. 

But U Mumba need to worry about their raiding income. Guman Singh and Zafardanesh will not be able to score a Super 10 against the strong Jaipur defense. They will start aggressively but lose steam in the second half. Hence U Mumba will have to depend on defenders Rinku Singh and Sombir.
