The Pirates conceded an all-out very early in the first half and they trailed by 6 points at half-time. The Thalaiva lost to the Haryana Steelers in their last match. Their fans expected them to put up a fight but the men in yellow were low on fuel. Their raiders were completely outclassed by the Haryana defense. The Thalaiva tried out 6 of their raiders in a desperate attempt to earn points. But none of them proved effective. Raiders Sachin Tanwar and Manjeet will earn heavily, though they will be regulated by the Tamil defense. Patna defenders Krishnan and Ankit will be vital for their success. Captain Neeraj Kumar has been in decent form in the last few matches. The Pirates only have to be careful about a sudden spike from the Thalaiva.
