A star-studded Telegu Titans seem to be like a lost child in a city mall. Neither their star raiders are effective, nor do they have any contingency plans. Three-time champions, Patna Pirates are struggling to find their form in season 9. They have a wonderful set of players but nothing seems to be going right for them. Except for left corner, Girish Ernak rest all seem to be struggling. Raiders Sachin and Rohit Gulia haven’t yet looted the opposition. Captain Neeraj Kumar, all-rounder Sajin, right corner Sunil, and defender Thiyagrajan haven’t set the mat on fire.

Girish Ernak seems to be fighting a lone battle as he has already executed 9 successful tackles in 2 games while scoring a High 5. Patna Pirates are using a lot of their players as they are trying to find a decent combination. 

Raiders Sachin Tanwar and Rohit Gulia are performing well but they are not being complimented efficiently by the defense. They have a wonderful opportunity to exploit the rusty Titans to score their first victory of the season.

Telugu Titans Preview

Life on the mat can be very brutal. Telegu Titans seem to be jinxed since the last season as they are searching for their first victory of the season. They have failed to impress even after having the best resources in terms of players and coaches.

They had a complete breakdown against the Bengal Warriors as they lost the game by a margin of 20 points. The record for the biggest victory is with Bengaluru Bulls as they had beaten the UP Yodha by 40 points. Apart from trivia, the Titans have reached a dead end at the beginning of the season.

They have to rely on young raider Vinay who has been their best bet in the presence of star raiders like Siddharth Desai, Monu Goyat, and Abhishek Singh. Their best performer Rajneesh suffered a terrible knee injury further pushing the Titans into the abyss. The Telegu Titans are weak at the corners with both Ravinder Pahal and Vishal Bharadwaj guilty of constant unforced errors and advanced tackles.

Deputy coach Manjeet Chillar has a huge deficit of ideas due to the reckless behavior of his experienced players. This has also clipped the wings of defenders Surjeet and Parvesh Bhaiswal who seem to be lost on the mat.

Telegu Titans need to give raider Abhishek Singh more game time as he is in good form post his performance at the National games. The Titans need an unconventional plan of action to get back to winning ways.

Telegu Titans have more questions than answers at this point in time. They seem to be unsure of their raiding combination while their defense has butter fingers. They will need to replace a lot of top players with youngsters to get back the spark in their game. They have a good opportunity against a fragile Patna defense. Raiders Vinay and Abhishek will need to lead the charge.

Patna Pirates are still searching for a decent team combination. Captain Neeraj Kumar and Sajin have to graduate to the next level quickly in order to support left corner Girish Ernak. Sachin Tanwar looked a tad slow in the previous games as the opposition seem to have decoded him easily. This should be a wake-up call for players of both teams.

The Patna Pirates have the advantage as the Telegu Titans have too many things to sort out before this game.
