Patna Pirates continued their juggernaut and dominance with yet another dominant 23-point win over the Bengaluru Bulls in their last outing. The Pirates were quickly off the blocks in this game, and Coach Narender Redhu, instead of sending Devank Dalal in the first 10 minutes, used more of Sandeep in the raiding. Sandeep came out all guns blazing with his kicks and running hand touches, scoring 5 raid points. 

Then, the left raider Ayan Lohchab slowly got going to shepherd the Pirates to a 7-point lead in the 1st half with the scoreline being 13-20. But it was the storm of Devank Dalal in the second half that the Bulls didn't expect, as he ran past the defense of the Bulls with his sheer power, enticing the right side of the defense and finished with a game-high 16 raid points (14 touch & 2 bonus). Ayan kept going and scored 12 points (10 raid touch, 1 bonus & 1 tackle) on the night. The three raiders combinedly scored 31 raid points.

Their defense was equally good, with every defender getting on the board with their tackles, led by the team's captain Ankit and Akram Sheikh, who finished with 4 tackle points each. Shubham Shinde with three and Deepak Rathee with two tackle points all had a very good outing. As the Pirates shift their focus to a reconciled UP Yoddhas, their defense is expected to have a tough outing against the might of Bharat Hooda and Bhavani Rajput. The Pirates' defense will have to be very precise with their tackle attempts and let the Yoddhas' raiders venture deep before pinning them down.

UP Yoddhas seem to have found their best combination this season. Despite missing Surender Gill due to injury, the Yoddhas are dominating. Their recent 16-point one-sided drubbing against the Tamil Thalaivas, where the match ended with a scoreline of 24-40, is a testament to their dominance. Led by Bhavani Rajput, who has been at his absolute best, taking the responsibility of a lead raider, he scored 10 raid points (9 touch & 1 bonus). 

This is his third Super 10 of the season. He did struggle in the initial raids, where he was stuck at one end, but in the second half, he proved to be the difference-maker with his running hand touches, escaping skills, and tall reach. In 6-7 man defenses, he lured in the cover defenders to tackle him, while in 4-5 man defenses, he targeted the right corner and right in with precision. When there were 3 or fewer defenders on the mat, he strived with kicks on the left corner.

Bharat Hooda stabilized the game with his all-round show of five points (4 raid & 1 tackle). On the defensive end, Hitesh Kumar was the star with his blocks and double-legged thigh holds. The right corner defender finished with a game-high six tackle points. The cover combo of Ashu and Mahender Singh picked up two tackle points each and were highly efficient in the later stages of the game. The Yoddhas now shift their focus, and their defense will have a tough time containing the Pirates' raiders. If they can pin down the Pirates' raiders, then the Yoddhas have the best chance of winning this game.

The Yoddhas this season, on average, scored 35.09 points and conceded 34.81 points per game. Their raiding unit is averaging 19.82 raid points per game, the fourth-best this season, and their defense is averaging 10.73 tackle points. Bharat Hooda with 82 raid points and Sumit Sangwan with 36 tackle points are the top performers for the Yoddhas.
