Puneri Paltan the defending champions have been down and out since the injury to their captain Aslam Inamdar, Puneri have now lost four of their last five games and only won against the Gujarat Giants. In their last outing against the UP Yoddhas, a game which Puneri should have won comfortably but errors on the defensive end cost them big time. 

The Paltan were trailing by 10 points at the end of the 1st half with the scoreline being 21-11, they have a moment where they could have inflicted the all-out on the Yoddhas towards the last five minutes of the 1st half but they conceded 3,2,2,2 points in four raids to Gagan Gowda which skyrocketed the Yoddhas scored from 11 to 20 in no time and on the final raid of the first half they did inflict the all-out but it was too little to late. 

In this game Pankaj Mohite with 11 raid points was the top scorer, Mohit Goyat contributed on both the offensive and defensive end scoring 4 raid and 3 tackle points. In their last outing against the UP Yoddhas, Delhi managed to end the game in a tie on the last raid of the match.
