The surprise package in the absence of Vishal Chahal was Tamil Nadu's local lad MasanaMuthu, who stepped up with his speed and power to score 6 raid points, all of them touch points.

The change in the cover combination worked wonders for the Thalaivas, as the new cover duo of Ronak and Aashish picked up two tackle points each and provided the perfect assist to their corner defenders. Niesh Kumar, despite playing in both right and left cover positions, was the top defender with three tackle points. Amir Hossein Bastami was equally impressive with two tackle points. Sahil Gulia, on his return to the starting lineup, didn't have the outing he expected, finishing with one tackle point.
