The Telegu Titans have looked like kinder-garden kids attending classes meant for higher grades. They are yet to win a game this season and every time they come close to winning, they lose steam and end on the losing side. They are last in the points table and do not have much hope to advance further in the tournament. Siddharth Desai is nowhere in the picture, veteran Rohit Kumar is back and the Titans have moved from the Ruturaj Koravi after giving his a lot of chances.

They have no raider or defender in the top 10 and this has dented their hopes in this league.

They have conceded 341 points in 9 games while earning only 185. Though they have executed 7 Super raids, they have conceded 13 all outs while inflicting only 10.

The rise of Ankit Beniwal and Rajneesh in raiding has been their only hope. Both have performed very well. While Ankit Beniwal has earned 47 raid points in 9 games, Rajneesh has earned 45 from just 5 games. This is the only ray of hope for the Titans who have been dismal otherwise whenever they have entered the arena.

Against the defending champions, the Telegu Titans can exploit their short comings as Bengal Warriors have also been inconsistent this season. If the Titans can take care of the massive and rampaging Maninder Singh, they will win half the battle.

The defending champions have been at their inconsistent best this season as they have give away matches easily on many occasions. That is the reason why they find themselves in the 8th spot in the points table with 25 points. They do not have many matches left to cover up for all their mistakes.

They have a wonderful opportunity to earn valuable points as they take on the out of form Telegu Titans.

Captain Maninder Singh has been his star throughout this tournament. He has been able to maintain his fitness and variety in his raiding which has earned him 128 raid points from 97 successful raids including 8 Super 10’s.

He scored 17 points against U Mumba in his last game which ended in a TIE. He has also executed 6 Super raids to get his team out of trouble time and again.

The introduction of veteran all rounder Ran Singh has eased a few things, but the Warriors still have a lot of issues in their team combination and defence. They also do not have much of raiding options to support Manider. Akash Pikalmunde has done well in the opportunities that he has got.

Nabibaksh has been predictable while Darshan and Abozar Meghai have underperformed. Defender Amit Nirwal has attacked raiders successfully and his contribution will make the difference in this game.

This will be a tricky match for the Warriors.

Bengal Warriors need to push harder in the remainder of the tournament if they dream of making it to the play-off. They have a wonderful opportunity as they take on the out of form Telegu Titans who are yet to win a game. The defending champions will once again be heavily dependent on captain Maninder Singh. Ran Singh and Amit Nirwal will play an important role in the defence.

The Telgu Titans need to shrug off all disappointments and play within their limitations in the remainder of the tournament. They will need to exploit the Warrior defence and hope that they panic. That is the only way the Titans can upset the defending champions. But the Titans will have a tough time countering the huge Maninder Singh who looks unstoppable. It will be interesting to see how young Rajneesh leads the raiding party for the Titans.
