This is going to be an uphill task for the Telegu Titans as they clash with the defending champions. It's naturally quite frustrating for them as they have won just 1 match out of their 14 games. They have been rattled with multiple issues but at the end of the day, you need to win games to earn points. The Bengal Warriors were lackluster in some of their games but they seem to have found their mojo with the inclusion of defenders Vishal Mane and Ran Singh in their team. Maninder is unstoppable and he has worked on his fitness due to which he shows no signs of fatigue. The Telegu Titans have worked hard in every game and they have tried to win those. But fate has something else written for them this season and they seem to be out of luck in every game. They gave a tough fight to the Haryana Steelers in their last game and they just need to repeat that performance without thinking of the result.

Telugu Titans Preview

One feels for the Titans as they are going through a phase where a victory eludes them however hard they play. They just have 1 victory to their name in 14 games and that can be very frustrating. They have improved a lot in the last few matches but they haven’t been able to deliver the killer blow. They toiled hard and looked like they would beat the Haryana Steelers in their last game, but they settled for a TIE.

The Titans were able to find a replacement for the defender Ruturaj Koravi but they have not been able to replace Surinder who has been overtly inefficient throughout the season. This has made the Titans vulnerable and they have leaked a lot of points in their defense.

They do not have any defender in the top 20 this season while young raiders like Ankit Beniwal and Rajneesh have worked overtime to earn raid points. Rajneesh has also been unfit and hence defender Adarsh has been doing the raiding duties. Veteran Rohit Kumar is back and that is good news for the Titans. Rohit Kumar has also been in and out of the side due to fitness issues.

Titans have executed 210 successful raids out of the 574 team raids.

They do have 124 successful team tackles but they have leaked points at crucial moments.

They have earned 276 raid points while conceding 520 points which is second to the Bengaluru Bulls.

This season has been very harsh on them. Bahubali Siddharth Desai is still recovering, Rohit Kumar, Rajneesh are struggling with their fitness, Surinder and Ruturaj Koravi are leaking points. They just need to go through the chores and hope that the youngsters in the team give a good fight in every game.

Bengal Warriors Preview

The defending champions had some tricky games in between the season but they seem to have learned their lesson and are back on track. King Maninder Singh has been in devastating form and the opposition defenders still don’t have a clue how to trap him.

Maninder has 178 raid points from 135 successful raids. The Warriors are placed 5th in the points table with 41 points from 14 games. They have won 7 out of 14 matches. They beat the Jaipur Pink Panthers in their last game which was also one of the best performances of their defense which earned 15 points out of the total of 41 team points. The introduction of defenders Vishal Mane and Ran Singh has changed the texture of their defense and due to this, the Warriors have become more dangerous in the last few games.

Hence the Warriors have all their players in form and this is not good news for the other teams. Most of their defenders are huge and bulky which makes it difficult to dodge them or escape from their grip. Abozar Meghani, Vishal Mane, Amit Nirwal, and Ran Singh along with Nabibaksh and Maninder is a lethal and potent combination.

They have executed 229 successful raids out of their 569 team raids.

Maninder has 11 Super 10’s and has also executed 8 Super raids which is the highest for the season by any raider. He is also a DoD specialist with 26 DoD raid points.

The defending champions need to continue playing their brand of kabaddi and bulldoze the Titans to earn valuable points.

This is going to be a very tough game of the Titans. Though they played extremely well against the Haryana Steelers and stole a tie, playing against the Warriors will be nothing less than playing with fire. While the Warriors have found the right combination for their battle, the Titans are still struggling with available ammunition to keep the enemy engaged. The fitness of Rohit Kumar and Rajneesh will be the key to the Titans team combination. Else they will have to depend on Ankit, Rakesh Gowda, and Adarsh in raiding. But their biggest challenge will be how to escape from the clutches of the Bengal defense. Vishal Mane and Ran Singh will be difficult to negotiate and they should be able to trap the Titans at will. The Titans can dream of unsettling the Warriors only if they are able to tackle the mighty Maninder Singh early in the game.

Bengal Warriors will win.
