U Mumba started the season with an emphatic victory over the UP Yodha. But they suffer a few hiccups in their next few matches. They suffered consecutive losses to the Gujarat Giants and Puneri Paltan. Since then Mumba is back on track but they need to improve their efficiency. 

U Mumba is faced with a unique issue, breakdown of their defense and raiders alternatively. Raiders Guman Singh, Zafardanesh and Visvanath has done well but not collectively. They have just 5 Super 10’s between them. U Mumba needs to improve its raid earnings drastically. They have suffered whenever Guman Singh and Zafardanesh are not able to score. Captain Surender Singh has been just above average with his tackles. 

U Mumba defenders have not impressed as a unit. Right corner Rinku and defender Mahender Singh have delivered but in phases. Young raider Nitin Kumar graduated in this match with his first Super 10 of the season. This augurs well for the Warriors as they have found a perfect back-up for Maninder Singh and Srikant Jadhav. 

Unfortunately the Bengal Warriors suffered a total breakdown against the Puneri Paltan as they were thrashed by 30 points. They managed a TIE against UP in their next match but their fans will not be convinced as Bengal should have won the game. Nevertheless, the Warriors are placed 2nd in the points table with 3 victories to their name.

Defender Shubham Shinde is one of the best defenders on the circuit. He has executed 22 successful tackles with a total of 23 tackle points. He has been deadly with his ankle holds and blocks. Welcome to a fight between traditional rivals. Former Champions U Mumba take on the Bengal Warriors. This is a crucial bout for U Mumba as they are placed 7th in the points table. Mumba raiders Guman and Zafardanesh will be effective in the first half but none of the Mumba raiders will be able to score a Super 10. Defenders Surender and Mahender may leak points due to unforced errors. Corners Rinku and Sombir will target Maninder Singh but they may not be able to stop the other Bengal raiders. 

The Warriors will take a lead by half-time with Maninder, Nitin and Srikant Jadhav scoring quickly. Defender Shubham Shinde will be ruthless against one of the Mumba raiders. Defenders Vaibhav Garje and Darpan will complement Shubham as U Mumba will find it difficult to score quickly in the second half. The Bengal Warriors have to be careful that they do not lose intensity in the second half else their opponents will take them for a ride.
