This may just prove to be the thorn in their flesh.

They have won 3 out of their last 5 games as they beat the Tamil Thalaiva by just 2 points. Even in this encounter, they were keen on a tie but fortunately they won due to the unforced errors of the opposition.

The Patna Pirates are the king’s of the mat as they sit comfortably on top of the points table after 16 games with 80 points. They have won 11 of these 16 games and have also completed a hat-trick of victories post their recovery from Covid. It’s a dream come true for the Pirates as they rule the mat with their brand of kabaddi. 

Monu Goyat’s fitness is of prime concern as he could not play in the last game. But the Pirates have a vibrant and diverse team as they are unbeatable in their raids or their defence. Raiders Sachin Tanwar and Prashanth Rai have got great support from youngsters like Ghuman Singh who scored 7 points against the Bengal Warriors in the last game. Their biggest asset is their defence which guards all their treasures very dearly. Left corner Mohammedreza has been devastating with his crocodile ankle holds while defenders Neeraj Kumar and Sajin have bull-dozed raiders out of the mat.
