Slow starters UP Yoddha who impressed last season with a third place finish will need to get their engines running. They are placed 3rd in the points table currently, as they just need to win their remaining games to consolidate their position. After a slow start, they were too hot to handle mid season. But then they hit a few speed breakers as they lost a few consecutive games. But they are back to winning ways as they have won 4 out of their last 5 games. They beat Dabang Delhi by 16 points. Apart from Pardeep Narwal getting back to his old ways, the Yodha defence was tenacious in their last game earning 12 tackle points in that game. This will augur well for the UP Yodha as they take on U Mumba. Both teams settled for a TIE when they met on the first day of 2022. That was a low scoring game. But since then both teams have had contrasting results as they have moved in opposition directions in the points table, UP moving upwards while U Mumba slipping consistently.

Defenders Sumit, Ashu Sigh, Nitesh Kumar and left cover Shubham Singh have resonated well in the last few games. If they fail, the Yodha unleashes raider Surender Gill who is too hot to handle at times. They will target the fragile Mumba defence and put the pressure on the Mumba raiders.

U Mumba on the other hand went off-course mid-season and have not recovered at all. They have their backs to the wall as their defence looks fragile and fatigued.
