One of the iconic sporting venues in Zimbabwe, the Harare Sports Club located in the heart of the city and surrounded by jacaranda tree. The ground is right between the highly bordered presidentual palace and the vintage Royal Harare Gold Club on the other side. The venue hosted the first test match in the year 1992 and has a capacity to accomodate 10,000 spectators which can expandable upto 25,000. It is one of the major venues for the upcoming ICC Men's ODI World Cup in 2027 and previosly hosted the world cup qualifiers in 2019 and co-hosted the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2007.

The pitch at Harare Sports Club offers a balanced track that favours both the batters and bowlers. The ground has a large playing field where the boundaries can be expanded upto 85-90 meteres. It is not a high scoring venue where the batters can simply hit through the line, due to the additional bounce that the surface offers. It is neither a heavy boundary scoring venue, where the batter will have to time it perfectly or place it in the gap there is no room for mishits.
